Unprecedented disruptions from the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated long-anticipated changes to workforce models, including a dramatic rise in remote work. Once organizations began accepting employees inside their buildings again, they had to state their openness or resistance to continuing this new off-site way of working. Compensation policies, specifically geographic differentials, captured media attention as companies announced whether employees moving away from high-cost cities would have their salaries cut. In this session, you’ll hear about the latest research from Deloitte Consulting and Empsight regarding how companies are evaluating the impact of various remote work designs and how compensation and benefits are evolving as a result.
